His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a written letter to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, concerning the close historical ties between the two countries and their peoples, and ways to strengthen and develop these relations, in addition to current developments in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a press release, said that Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah handed the letter to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani during their meeting on Wednesday, as part of the Kuwaiti top diplomat's official visit to the Italian capital, Rome.
The release added that the meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields, as well as the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Health Minister Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, who presented His Highness with the newly appointed Health Ministry Undersecretary Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifah Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who presented to His Highness the newly appointed Ambassador of Kuwait to the Czech Republic Talal Al-Shatti.
The ambassador took the constitutional oath before His Highness on the occasion of assuming his new post.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday a written letter from President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohammad Ould Cheikh Ghazouani regarding close relations between both sisterly countries and means to promote and develop them.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was handed the letter while welcoming Mauritanian Presidential Envoy and Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad Dr. Mohammad Salem Ould Merzoug, said the Foreign Ministry in a press release.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between both countries and the latest regional and international developments, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, according to the release.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory cable to Canada's Governor General Louise Arbour on the occasion of her appointment.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir wished her success in her duties and expressed hopes for continued progress and prosperity for Canada and its people, as well as further development in bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call Wednesday from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, during which they reviewed the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and peoples.
The call also covered several topics of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments, particularly in light of current conditions in the region.
Meloni reaffirmed Italy's support for Kuwait and its people, expressing her country's backing for all efforts aimed at preserving Kuwait's sovereignty, security, and stability.
In turn, His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere appreciation to the Italian prime minister, wishing her continued health and the Italian people further progress and prosperity.
